This role involves detecting technical issues, improving service observability and availability, enhancing monitoring systems, collaborating with the engineering team, and performing on-call duties with a shift schedule (day and night shifts).

Must Have

• Understanding of containerization (Docker, Docker Compose, Kubernetes)

We are looking for a Shift Engineer for our SRE team to join our team.

What you will do:

• Detect technical issues with services;
• Improve service observability and availability;
• Improve the monitoring system;
• Collaborate with the engineering team;
• On-call duties as part of the team (shift schedule, day and night shifts).

Our candidate:

• Has 3+ years of experience in Linux OS administration;
• Possesses general knowledge of infrastructure, including: networking, DNS, load balancing, databases, and more;
• Knows how to work with monitoring and alerting systems.

Skills and experience that will be a plus:

• Experience with version control systems (Git, CVS);
• Experience with configuration management systems (Puppet, Ansible);
• Understanding of containerization (Docker, Docker Compose, Kubernetes);
• Good scripting/programming skills in one of the languages (Bash, Python, Go);
• English language proficiency (B1+).
