Job Summary

BOLD is looking for a Software Engineer to work on a new project merging recruitment with advertising technology. This role involves collaborating with global development teams in an agile environment to create features impacting job seekers, recruiters, and employers. The goal is to modernize the platform to simplify the job matching process, ensuring a rewarding experience for all. The Product Delivery Group in India focuses on customer-centric solutions using diverse technologies like React JS, Next JS, Node JS, .Net, PHP for brands like MyPerfectResume.com.

Must Have

  • Strong TypeScript proficiency
  • React & Next.js experience (SSR/SSG, routing, data fetching, performance optimization)
  • SCSS / CSS architecture knowledge
  • Unit Testing with Jest and React Testing Library
  • Experience integrating with RESTful APIs
  • Experience with CI/CD (ideally Jenkins and Spinnaker)
  • Git for version control

Good to Have

  • Experience building Design Systems (component libraries)
  • E2E Automation (Playwright or Cypress)
  • Web Performance Optimization (Core Web Vitals, caching, code splitting, bundle analysis)
  • Experience with Service Workers (push notifications, Chrome extensions)
  • Accessibility (a11y) (ARIA best practices, semantic HTML, screen reader support)
  • Security Practices (XSS/CSRF prevention)
  • Experience with OAuth Authentications Flows
  • Monitoring & Logging (using tools like Splunk or Datadog to debug production issues)

ABOUT THIS TEAM

The Product Delivery Group at BOLD works closely with stakeholders across the Customer Experience Team. We collaborate with product management, UX, analytics and other project stakeholders to create successful and effective customer-centric solutions for job seekers.

In India, the Product Delivery Group is amalgamation of latest technology, niche processes and tech-savvy people. Our team uses a mixture of diversified technologies and cutting edge expertise to create a wide range of products which provide great customer experience. As part of Product Delivery Group you will be working on any of our brands like MyPerfectResume.com, Resume-Now.com, LiveCareer.com which provide users with access to tools and resources to help them create and customize resumes, cover letters, and job applications. The team is responsible for delivering highly optimized and highly performant web applications using some of the latest technologies like React JS, Next JS, Node JS, .Net, PHP etc.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Develop and maintain scalable front-end applications using TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
  • Implement SSR/SSG, routing, and data-fetching strategies for optimized performance.
  • Design and manage SCSS/CSS architecture to ensure responsive and maintainable styling.
  • Write and maintain unit tests with Jest and React Testing Library to ensure code quality.
  • Integrate front-end applications with RESTful APIs securely and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with backend and DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Spinnaker).
  • Use Git for version control, code reviews, and collaborative development.
  • Continuously monitor, debug, and optimize applications for speed and performance

WHAT YOU’LL NEED
