Embrace is seeking a highly technical Solutions Engineer to empower mobile and web developers in creating superior user experiences. This role involves representing Embrace as an expert communicator and technologist, directly engaging with customers, product, and engineering teams to drive technical integration strategies. The Solutions Engineer will root-cause technical issues, provide clear solutions, and influence product direction, ensuring efficient bug surfacing and improved collaboration with sales and customer success.
Must Have
- Represent Embrace as an expert communicator and technologist
- Communicate directly with customers, product, and engineering teams
- Drive technical integration strategy and execution for prospects and customers
- Quickly root-cause and identify technical issues
- Provide clear instructions to reproduce problems or drive new product specifications
- Directly impact product direction by suggesting improvements
- Ensure efficient process for surfacing bugs to Engineering
- Improve collaboration with Sales and Customer Success by developing tools and enhancing documentation
- 3+ years experience in Mobile Developer, Web Developer, Sales Engineer, or Solutions Engineer role at a B2B software technology company
- Experience with mobile or web development
- Familiarity with iOS, Android and their development tools
- Working knowledge of Linux and/or Mac OS X command line
- Excellent communication skills
- High competency and low ego
- Willingness to travel for customer-facing activities and internal team gatherings
Good to Have
- Ability to read and write code (Python, Java, Objective-C, Swift, Kotlin, or JS preferred)
- Diploma in Computer Science, Mathematics or related discipline preferred

About the Role
We're looking for a highly technical Solutions Engineer to help mobile and web developers build better user experiences. At Embrace, we're the only user-focused observability solution built on OpenTelemetry, providing frontend teams with the insights they need to understand real customer impact across 100M+ devices and growing.
What You’ll Do
- Represent Embrace as both an expert communicator and technologist, and help deliver an amazing customer experience
- Communicate directly with customers, product and engineering teams, and work together towards a solution to the task at hand
- Drive the technical integration strategy and execution for both prospects and customers, leveraging deep product expertise to create customized implementation approaches tailored to each customer's technical environment and business objectives
- Quickly root-cause, identify technical issues, and provide clear instructions to reproduce the problems or drive new product specifications
- Directly impact product direction by suggesting improvements for customers day to day
- Ensure that our process for surfacing bugs to Engineering is fast, efficient, and effective
- Improve collaboration with Sales and Customer Success by developing tools and enhancing documentation
Our Ideal Candidate will have:
- 3+ years experience in a Mobile Developer, Web Developer, Sales Engineer, or Solutions Engineer role at a B2B software technology company
- Experience with mobile or web development and eagerness to learn and improve your skills. Familiarity with iOS, Android and their development tools
- Working knowledge of Linux and/or Mac OS X command line
- Comfortable discussing code; ability to read and write code is a plus (Python, Java, Objective-C, Swift, Kotlin, or JS preferred)
- A curiosity for how things work and the ability to apply your experience of using tools and resources to come to a resolution
- Excellent communication skills and comfortability writing and speaking with people to help them solve their issues
- High competency and low ego, you have a passion for helping people both inside and outside of your company
- Willingness to travel for both customer-facing activities (technical workshops, integration support, relationship building) and quarterly internal team collaboration gatherings
- Diploma in Computer Science, Mathematics or related discipline preferred
On target earnings (OTE) for this role are $130,000-$160,000. Actual compensation may vary based on level, experience, and skillset as assessed in the interview process. Benefits include equity and other benefits as detailed on our careers page.
