Job Summary
This role involves coordinating and managing engineering sample orders across numerous OSAT subcontractors globally. The specialist will facilitate requests from Business Units/Divisions, support the ES Manager in achieving team objectives, and assist internal customers with deadlines. Key responsibilities include daily review of SPOs, preparing called-off POs, updating shipment plans, and compiling data for OTD and CT analysis. The role requires a diploma or degree in a technical field, 0-2 years of experience in engineering sample management, and strong planning and technical knowledge.
Must Have
- Coordinate engineering sample orders across OSAT subcons.
- Manage engineering samples globally.
- Support Business Units/Division on engineering sample requests.
- Drive and maintain On-Time Delivery (OTD) and Cycle Time (CT).
- Manage subcon portfolio, including loading and shipment plans.
- Monitor and track daily status of lots.
- Review SPOs and prepare called-off POs.
- Update shipment plans to customers.
- Analyze OTD and CT data for detractor calculation.
- Participate in team and subcon meetings.
- Facilitate guidelines and provide training.
- Diploma or Degree in a related technical field.
- 0-2 years of experience in engineering sample handling.
- Basic technical and assembly process knowledge.
- Proficiency in English.
- Tactical planning skills.
- Familiarity with engineering sample management.
- Strong understanding of assembly and testing requirements.

Job Description
Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
- Responsible for coordinating engineering samples orders across all OSAT subcon (~30 assembly sites and locations)
- Coordination and management of engineering sample across all OSAT subcon (globally located)
- Facilitate & support Business Units/Division on engineering sample request
- Add on task in handling ES.
- Support ES Manager
- to achieve team’s objective and target
- to assist internal customer needs to meet their deadlines requirement
- to facilitate data gathering for analysis of report
- on adhoc and urgent last minute request
- to maintain standard and reputation of the group
- Coordination and management of engineering sample across all OSAT subcon
- Responsible to drive and maintain OTD & CT
- Responsible to manage subcon under their portfolio
- Work with subcon for loading and shipment plan
- Responsible for close monitoring and tracking of daily status
- Work with other internal IFX team (Development or Test) to move lots on hold
- Coordination and management
- Daily review of SPO for release to subcon
- Preparation of called off PO
- Responsible in updating shipment plan to customer on internal site (Febes, email, database, etc)
- Compile data, generate and analyse OTD and CT for detractor calculation
- Participate in meetings with ES team, GSC, BE team, requestor and subcon as needed
- Facilitate in guidelines preparation and provide training as needed
- Attend relevant workshop and subcon visit for improvement and alignment as needed
Your Profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
- Diploma or Degree in related technical field
- Minimum 0–2 years of experience handling engineering samples.
- Exposure to engineering practices is a plus.
- Experience in planning and logistics will be an added advantage.
- Basic technical and assembly process knowledge (advantageous).
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of Chinese is an added advantage.
- Tactical planning skills with the ability to anticipate issues and provide immediate solutions.
- Familiarity with engineering sample management.
- Strong understanding of assembly and testing requirements, including planning and scheduling.
Note: 1-year renewable contract under 3rd party payroll partner and entitled to benefits according to the partner company.
