Architect and implement robust, scalable data ingestion and ETL pipelines leveraging AWS services to facilitate efficient data flow from source systems to data repositories.
Utilize AWS tools and big data technologies to process high volumes of diverse data types promptly, ensuring optimized data throughput and storage.
Design and select appropriate data models and storage solutions such as Amazon S3, Redshift, and DynamoDB for different use cases, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
Implement data validation, quality checks, and monitoring frameworks to maintain accurate data pipelines, while tracking performance metrics and controlling costs.
Enforce data security best practices, including IAM policies, data encryption, and network security, to safeguard sensitive information and ensure compliance.
Work closely with business stakeholders, data analysts, and solutions teams to understand their needs and deliver data solutions aligned with core business objectives.
Integrate AI/ML and Generative AI (GenAI) into data pipelines to automate workflows, enhance data insights, and develop AI-driven data products.
Extensive experience with core AWS data services such as AWS Glue, Glue ETL, S3, Redshift, DynamoDB, EMR, Lambda, and IAM.
Strong understanding of distributed data processing frameworks like Apache Spark, Hadoop, or similar.
Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages (Python, Scala, etc.) for data transformation, automation, and custom processing.
Deep knowledge of data modeling, schema design, data governance, and lifecycle management.
Ability to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, optimize queries, and control infrastructure costs on AWS.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation, and version control systems.
