Job Description

We’re seeking a detail-driven and proactive Legal Executive to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced creative environment and brings expertise in legal documentation, intellectual property, regulatory compliance, and corporate structuring. You’ll be instrumental in managing contracts, IP filings, risk assessments, and strategic legal processes including M&A and joint ventures.
Must Have:
  • Draft, vet, and maintain a repository of agreements, notices, and legal documents
  • File and renew trademarks and copyrights; maintain MIS for all IP assets
  • Support commercial and contractual matters with best practice recommendations
  • Identify and communicate key contract terms to relevant stakeholders
  • Act as the primary legal contact for internal teams and business heads
  • Liaise with internal and external parties on contract terms and pricing
  • Handle legal disputes and piracy issues independently or with authorities, including visiting courts in all civil matters, coordinating with external counsel, and preparing/drafting necessary legal documentation. Ensure timely filing, compliance with court procedures, and regular updates to management on case progress.
  • Assess and mitigate legal risks in business transactions
  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and finalizing legal documents related to mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures
  • Support structuring and negotiation of deal terms, shareholder agreements, and strategic partnerships
  • Experience in contract drafting, legal review, and negotiations
  • Strong knowledge of IP laws (Copyright, Trademark), digital media, licensing, and e-commerce
  • Familiarity with TRAI regulations, Cable TV Act, and broadcasting laws
  • Understanding of procedural (CPC, CrPC) and substantive laws (IPC, economic offenses)
  • Proficiency in corporate law, labor law, litigation, and compliance
  • Exposure to M&A transactions and joint venture structuring
