Sr. Manager, Finance Operations

The Senior Manager, Finance Operations will manage accounting operations and forecasting related to standard cost, variances, spending, cost of goods sold, E&O reserve, and rebates, impacting Gross Margin. Responsibilities include managing standard costs, supervising staff, improving Oracle system processes, ensuring timely internal and external reporting, leading audits, and managing Sarbanes Oxley compliance. The role also involves assisting with ad hoc accounting projects, financial reports, operational issues, and cost/operational metrics reporting.

Must Have

• Manage E&O, rebates, standard cost of sales, variances, and other gross margin aspects
• Manage standard costs and updates
• Supervise staff and assist Singapore accounting team
• Improve Oracle system processes and automate reconciliations
• Responsible for Oracle and IT project management related to cost accounting
• Ensure timely internal and external reporting
• Lead quarterly review and annual audit by external auditors
• Manage Sarbanes Oxley testing and compliance documentation
• Assist with ad hoc accounting projects and financial reports
• Assist with operational issues and partner with VP of operations
• Manage cost metrics reporting and operational metrics package
• BA Accounting degree
• 5+ years of related accounting experience
• Solid knowledge of U.S. GAAP
• Semiconductor industry experience
• Standard cost experience
• Hands-on experience with enterprise financial software (e.g., Oracle)
• Advanced Excel skills

Good to Have

• 2+ years in Public Accounting

JOB DESCRIPTION Senior Manager, Finance Operations will be responsible for managing the accounting operations and forecasting relating to standard cost, variances, spending, other cost of goods sold, E&O reserve, rebates and other. The responsibilities include:

• Manage E&O, rebates, standard cost of sales, variances, other cost of goods sold, and other aspects of the Gross Margin
• Manage the standard costs and standard costs update
• Manage and supervise one staff and assist the Singapore accounting team.
• Independently improve Oracle system processes and automate reconciliation processes.
• Responsible for Oracle and other IT project management especially as it relates to the cost accounting system with Oracle Shop Floor Manager (OSFM)
• Ensure the company’s internal and external reporting requirements are satisfied and delivered in a timely manner.
• Lead quarterly review and annual audit by external auditors.
• Manage the development, implementation and the documentation of information for Sarbanes Oxley testing and compliance.
• Assist with ad hoc accounting projects and financial reports as needed.
• Assist with operational issues and partner with the VP of operations
• Manage cost metrics reporting and operational metrics package

WORK REQUIREMENTS

• BA Accounting plus 5+ years of related accounting experience
• 2+ years in Public Accounting a plus
• Solid knowledge of U.S. GAAP
• Semiconductor experience required
• Standard cost experience required
• Oracle OSFM experience preferred
• Strong leadership, project management and communication skills
• Present strong problem solving, analytical, multi-tasking, and organizational skills
• Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize workload effectively and independently
• Hands on experience with an enterprise level financial software system, such as Oracle, and advanced Excel skills
• Showing competencies in taking initiative, working independently or as part of a team and meeting tight deadlines
• CPA or MBA a plus

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, qualifications and work location. The range displayed on the job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position in California. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
