We’re currently seeking a Sr. Product Designer (Native Mobile), remote, to join the team of a leading retail and healthcare company. This is a remote opportunity available for an approximately 12-month engagement. As a Sr. Product Designer, you'll work on complex, enterprise-level UX and product app design while collaborating closely with the Product team. This role offers the chance to lead and influence native mobile app experiences, helping shape user-centered solutions that align with business goals and deliver value.

As a Sr. Product Designer, you'll work on complex, enterprise-level UX and product app design while collaborating closely with the Product team. This role offers the chance to lead and influence native mobile app experiences, helping shape user-centered solutions that align with business goals and deliver value.

There is no application deadline for this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Design Native Mobile Apps: Create polished, user-friendly designs for native mobile applications, ensuring they adhere to mobile best practices.
  • Lead Design Efforts: Drive design from initial concepts through to market-ready experiences, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Lead design collaboration sessions with a range of stakeholders and effectively communicate design rationale to non-design audiences.
  • Define Design Direction: Advocate for design decisions and successfully communicate design direction to senior leadership and non-designers.
  • Maintain Design Systems: Contribute to and work with design systems, ensuring consistency across platforms.
  • Present and Communicate: Articulate design decisions and processes clearly to both design and non-design stakeholders, especially executive leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing native mobile app design (preferably iOS and Android), After Effects, that highlight both visual/UI design and interaction design (IxD).
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in native app design, including a minimum of 3 years leading design collaboration sessions with stakeholders.
  • Communication Skills: Must be able to present design ideas clearly, with the ability to communicate design rationale and advocate for design decisions.
  • Digital Product Experience: Experience working within large-scale digital product environments, especially those involving complex business needs.

*Eligibility requires working over 30 hours per week on an assignment lasting at least 10 weeks.
