Staff Sourcing Manager, Business Process and Program Management

Magic Leap is seeking a Staff Sourcing Manager to lead the creation and execution of a world-class supplier/equipment selection process. This role involves designing and implementing business processes to align supply chain capabilities with technology roadmaps and manufacturing requirements. The manager will oversee manufacturing equipment management systems, including asset tracking, SAP integration, and MRP integration, and ensure alignment between CapEx planning and equipment supply. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex technology supply chains and implementing high-impact programs in ambiguous environments.

Must Have

• Design and implement business processes that align supply chain capability and capacity with technology roadmap and manufacturing requirements.
• Provide leadership across development, execution, and partner alignment.
• Implement foundational systems and processes for manufacturing equipment management (asset tracking, SAP integration, MRP integration).
• Own alignment between capital expenditure (CapEx) planning and equipment supply.
• Demonstrated success in managing across organizations to build and implement complex technology supply chain processes.
• Experienced leader with a verifiable track record of creating, implementing, and managing business processes across peer organizations.
• Track record of high performance and sustained excellence in developing and implementing supply chain management and readiness business processes within a high-tech or semiconductor environment.
• Exceptional ability to work in a highly ambiguous environment with limited initial direction, consistently delivering successful, high-impact programs.

The opportunity

The Staff Sourcing Manager will be accountable for creating and executing a world-class supplier/equipment selection process, enabling the delivery of short and long term technology and manufacturing capacity that meets Magic Leap’s business requirements.

What you’ll do

• Design and implement business processes that align supply chain capability and capacity with Magic Leap’s technology roadmap and manufacturing requirements
• Provide leadership across development, execution, and partner alignment to maximize the effectiveness and value of Magic Leap resources
• Implement foundational systems and processes for manufacturing equipment management, including:
• Deployment of an asset tracking system for all manufacturing equipment
• Full integration of equipment assets into the SAP environment
• Integration of equipment data with the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system
• Own alignment between capital expenditure (CapEx) planning and equipment supply, ensuring accurate tracking and execution

The experience you bring

• Demonstrated success in managing across organizations to build and implement business processes that enable a complex technology supply chain, ensuring delivery that aligns with development and manufacturing timing, capacity, and cost targets
• Experienced leader with a verifiable track record of creating business processes, implementing processes across peer organizations, and managing the execution of said processes
• A track record of high performance and sustained excellence in developing and implementing supply chain management and readiness business processes within a high-tech or semiconductor environment
• Exceptional ability to work in a highly ambiguous environment with limited initial direction, consistently delivering successful, high-impact programs
