Job Summary
Wabtec Hauts-de-France is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer (M/F) for a permanent contract (CDI) in Amiens. This role involves managing suppliers on all quality aspects within the Quality department. Key responsibilities include qualifying new parts from suppliers, leading robust action plans (8D method) for non-conformities, conducting audits, and supporting production, procurement, purchasing, and customer quality teams. The position offers the possibility of two days of teleworking per week.
Must Have
- Qualify new parts from suppliers

- Assist production, procurement, purchasing, and customer quality teams
- Higher education with a mechanical focus
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality (supplier/project/production or customer) or mechanical engineering
- Experience in industrial sector (automotive, aeronautics, agricultural, military, etc.)
- Technical skills: plan reading, machining, sheet metal, and foundry processes
- Ability to establish and maintain good internal and external relationships
- Leadership to ensure suppliers execute expected actions
- Professional English level
- Authorization to work in the EU

We are recruiting a Supplier Quality Engineer (M/F) on a permanent contract (CDI) to join our passionate and committed teams. Within the Quality department, you will be responsible for managing suppliers on all quality aspects.
Location: Amiens (possibility of teleworking two days a week)
Who will be your contacts in this position?
Externally: Suppliers
Internally: Quality department, engineering and production teams
How will you make a difference in this position?
You will be responsible for:
- qualifying new parts with suppliers,
- in case of non-conformity, leading a robust action plan to remedy it (8D method),
- conducting audits,
- assisting production, procurement, purchasing, and customer quality teams
What we would like to find in you?
Strong taste for quality and production
Education: higher education with a mechanical focus.
Seniority: minimum 3 years of experience. More experienced profiles are welcome.
Required experience: in Quality (supplier/project/production or customer) or mechanical engineering.
Sector: Industry (automotive, aeronautics, agricultural, military, …)
Technical skills: plan reading, machining, sheet metal, and foundry processes. Experience in welding would be a plus.
Soft skills: establish and maintain good internal and external relationships with the company, leadership to encourage suppliers to execute expected actions.
Specific skills: supplier audits and problem-solving methods.
Professional English level.
Authorization to work in the EU required.
