Job Summary
SoftwareOne and Crayon have joined forces as a global, AI-powered provider of software and cloud solutions. This role involves leading the Order to Cash Department in the Finance area, developing strategies to minimize bad debt and secure company liquidity. The Team Lead will manage the cash collection process, proactively develop debtor processes, collaborate with sales and treasury, decide on order releases and account blocks, and handle complex cases like insolvencies and legal disputes, while contributing to strategic projects.
Must Have
- Lead the Order to Cash Department at Leipzig and Heilbronn locations.
- Responsible for the entire cash collection process.
- Secure liquidity by reducing outstanding receivables and minimizing defaults.
- Proactively develop processes in the debtor area.
- Collaborate closely with sales, Group Treasury, and other internal interfaces.
- Decide on order releases and account blocks.
- Handle complex cases such as insolvencies and legal disputes.
- Shape cross-departmental projects for strategic development.
- Completed degree in Business Administration / Finance or comparable commercial training including further training in accounting.
- Several years of professional and leadership experience in a similar position.
- High process affinity.
- Experience with ERP systems (preferably MS Navision) and BI Reports.
- Very good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
- Fluent German and English skills.

Team Lead (gn) Order to Cash
Full-time (40h) | Permanent | Location: Leipzig | Start: Immediately
Are you ready to take on responsibility and shape structures? In this role, you will lead the Order to Cash Department in the Finance area. Together with your team, you will develop strategies that minimize bad debt and secure the liquidity of our company.
Responsibilities
- Take on the technical and disciplinary leadership of the Order to Cash Department at the Leipzig and Heilbronn locations.
- Be responsible for the entire cash collection process and secure liquidity by reducing outstanding receivables and minimizing defaults.
- Proactively develop our processes in the entire debtor area and provide impulses for efficient processes – for example, by participating in strategic customer calls.
- Work closely with Sales, Group Treasury, and other internal interfaces to ensure smooth operations.
- Decide on order releases and account blocks and handle complex cases such as insolvencies and legal disputes.
- Shape cross-departmental projects for strategic development and actively contribute your expertise.
What we need to see from you
Knowledge and Skills
- You have a completed degree in Business Administration / Finance or comparable commercial training including further training in accounting.
- You have already gained several years of professional and leadership experience in a similar position.
- You have a high process affinity and experience in dealing with ERP systems (preferably MS Navision), BI Reports, as well as very good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
- You are interested in modern technologies and have initial experience in the use of AI tools, data management, and preferably in Lean/SixSigma.
- As a communicative team player with strong leadership qualities, you enjoy working in a leadership position and taking on responsibility.
- You are service-oriented, show initiative, and work in a results-oriented manner – even in challenging situations.
- Fluent German and English skills complete your profile.
