Description
We are a localization company that supports the global expansion of various game genres for domestic and international game manufacturers and developers. Our mission is to stay close to our clients and deliver more games to game fans who are waiting for localization into their native language. In the translation department of Side International Japan, we aim to "produce translations that meet client needs and responsibly create texts that form the foundation of an immersive game experience without discomfort for users."
The games to be translated are primarily games. This job is not simply translating English into Japanese, but rather translating with an emphasis on faithfully expressing the game's world view.
Job Responsibilities:
- Introduction and improvement of business flows, KPI management
- Consideration and introduction of performance improvement measures
- Report creation (daily/weekly reports, etc. / for clients: Chinese, for internal use: Japanese)
- Communication with clients (game company contacts) and information sharing with the team
- Judgment and execution of complaint handling and escalation responses
- Promotion of training and coaching for agents, and manual development
- Setting up various tools
Requirements
Application Requirements:
- Practical experience in customer support or player support (3 years or more)
- Team management experience (e.g., leader)
- Experience in data management and analysis using Excel and Google Spreadsheets
- Native level Chinese/Japanese
Preferred Conditions:
- Work experience in the game industry
- Business experience in English (reading, writing, conversation)
- Experience using CS tools like Zendesk or Salesforce
Other:
- Able to work night shifts (3:00-12:00 or 20:00-5:00, with night shift allowance)
- General client communication (hosting regular meetings, report creation, business communication, etc.)
