Technical Manager Road & Construction

Must Have

• At least 5 years of experience in road or ground design (or at least 3 years as an independent technical manager)
• Proficient in design, AMA, and technical descriptions
• Fluent in Swedish and English communication
• Business-minded, proactive, and enjoys teamwork

About Road & Construction WSP

WSP's Road & Construction section consists of approximately 140 colleagues across 12 offices in the country and works for national coordination of employees, tender work, delivery, technology development, and knowledge transfer. We contribute with sustainable and cost-effective solutions that help clients increase safety, reduce congestion, extend the lifespan of roads, and improve mobility.

We are involved in many exciting assignments and are therefore looking for more Technical Managers in road and ground design to complement our Road & Construction Uppsala/Gävle department.

Your role

As a Technical Manager, you will be a key person in our projects. You lead the design within your area, ensure quality, and drive success in everything from road plans to construction documents. You will:

• Work on varied assignments with state clients and contractors.
• Have the opportunity to coach colleagues and contribute to the development of our processes and tools.
• Experience a work-life where no two days are alike – with exciting technical challenges and close client dialogue.

We are looking for you who

• Have at least 5 years of experience in road or ground design (or at least 3 years as an independent technical manager).
• Are proficient in design, AMA (General Administrative Regulations for Contracts), and technical descriptions.
• Communicate fluently in Swedish and English.
• Are business-minded, proactive, and enjoy working in a team.

You will become part of our Road & Construction Uppsala/Gävle department – a competent and close-knit team that supports each other and has fun along the way.
