Technical Tender Engineer

How will you make a difference?

• Technical consulting for customers and customer support until order placement
• Review of customer requirements regarding technical feasibility
• Creation of customer-specific technical documents
• Review of requested products for suitability and application possibilities
• Cost determination of requested products
• Coordination of deadlines with internal interfaces
• Compilation of product descriptions
• Detailing of technical documents for offer creation
• Creation of a calculation for price determination
• Post-sales support for customers including solving technical problems and monitoring measures
• Maintenance and use of the ERP system

What do we want to know about you?

• Preferably technical vocational training, ideally with relevant completed further training in mechanical engineering/electrical engineering
• Several years of professional experience in a technical environment desirable
• Initial professional experience in a sales context is an advantage
• Communication skills and assertiveness
• Planning and organizational skills, even under time pressure
• Independent, service-oriented way of working with a strong hands-on mentality
• Proficient in MS-Office applications
• Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken

What does your typical workday look like?

As a Technical Tender Engineer (m/f/d), your workday is diverse. You advise and support customers from the initial inquiry to order placement with your profound technical expertise. An important part is the careful review of customer requirements for technical feasibility and the creation of detailed, customer-specific documents. You analyze the requested products regarding their suitability and application possibilities. Cost determination, deadline coordination with internal departments, and calculation for price determination are also among your core tasks. After order placement, you take over post-sales support for customers, solve technical questions, and monitor the implementation of measures. The continuous maintenance and use of the ERP system completes your varied daily work.
