Test & Validation Engineer

As a Test & Validation Engineer at Valeo Martos, you will contribute to the robust design and validation of automotive lighting products and electronics. Your role involves performing activities in compliance with development plans, reviewing requirements, supporting technical architecture, and following standardization rules. You will also be responsible for discipline design simulations, coding, validation, calculations, and tests, while reporting progress and escalating risks in an international and multicultural environment.

Must Have

• Perform activities in compliance with Discipline Development Plan
• Review Internal requirements, Customer Requirements, Specifications
• In charge of robust design / validation in line with economical targets
• Support technical architecture and standards assignments
• Follow Standardization rules
• Support design reviews, internal and with suppliers
• Support Discipline design simulations/coding/validation
• Support Discipline design calculations including worst case/statistical and thermal studies
• Support Disciplines tests
• Report progress of tasks and escalate risks
• Degree in engineering (embedded electronics, mechanics, software, optical system)
• Consolidated experience in testing of embedded product (functional and/or Environmental)
• Advanced level of English
• Passion for the automotive industry

**Contributor of:**

• Perform activities in compliance with Discipline Development Plan of his/her PG/PL;
• Review Internal requirements, Customer Requirements, Specifications;
• In charge of the robust design / validation in line with the economical targets;
• Support technical architecture and standards assignments;
• Follow Standardization rules;
• Support design reviews, internal and with suppliers.

**Your scope could include: all or part of the design, integration, validation of blocks / product**

Complying with Disciplines processes and Design Rules:

• Support Discipline design simulations/coding/validation;
• Support Discipline design calculations including worst case/statistical and support thermal studies;
• Support Disciplines tests.

**Management follow-up**

• Reports the progress of his/her tasks;
• Escalate risks

**Desired skills and experience:**

• Degree in engineering (general technical engineering knowledge: embedded electronics, mechanics, software, optical system )
• Consolodate Experience in testing of embedded product (functional and/or Environmental).
• Advanced level of English.
• Passion for the automotive industry.
