Job Summary

As a Tooling Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance, machining operations, and ensuring the safety and performance of equipment. This role involves defining optimal repair solutions, proposing process improvements, and managing workshop schedules to meet production requirements, all while adhering to environmental and safety standards.
Must Have
- Carry out preventive maintenance operations and scheduled machining operations.
- Know how to carry out tests and control reports.
- Be able to analyze dangerous operations and define the means to ensure the safety of all.
- Define the best solution (repair or machining) and the necessary means taking into account production requirements (Quality and Deadlines).
- Propose changes to the maintenance ranges and manufacturing ranges.
- Know how to define the functional parts of the product and the mold.
- Take charge of corrective maintenance operations and all machining work in complete autonomy.
- Anticipate and propose reliability solutions in order to limit the risk of repair and machining costs.
- Carry out work with due regard for guarantee, functionality and compliance with the applicant's requirements.
- Carry out work to improve the performance and lifespan of the equipment.
- Be able to manage emergencies and modify the schedule according to the load of the workshop.
- Be able to assess the need for equipment to meet production requirements.
- Respect and enforce all standards in terms of environmental management, energy and health and safety risk prevention and alert in the event of deviation.
- Comply with current policies and procedures.
- Participate in the continuous improvement process within the team.

Level 1
- Carry out preventive maintenance operations and scheduled machining operations.
- Report your choices and any difficulties to those in charge.
- Know how to carry out tests and control reports.
- Provide and maintain activity monitoring tools.
- Be able to analyze dangerous operations and define the means to ensure the safety of all
Level 2
- Define the best solution (repair or machining) and the necessary means taking into account production requirements (Quality and Deadlines)
- Propose changes to the maintenance ranges and manufacturing ranges.
- Know how to define the functional parts of the product and the mold.
- Take charge of corrective maintenance operations and all machining work in complete autonomy
- Transmits all the information necessary to monitor the activity.
Level 3
- Anticipate and propose reliability solutions in order to limit the risk of repair and machining costs.
- Carry out work with due regard for guarantee, functionality and compliance with the applicant's requirements.
- Carry out work to improve the performance and lifespan of the equipment.
- Be able to manage emergencies and modify the schedule according to the load of the workshop.
- Be able to assess the need for equipment to meet production requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Level 1
- Respect and enforce all standards in terms of environmental management, energy and health and safety risk prevention and alert in the event of deviation.
- Comply with current policies and procedures.
- Participate in the continuous improvement process within the team, in particular through the emergence and realization of PAs (proposals for improvement).
- Respect the rules for respecting the product.
Level 2
- Be versatile within its scope (according to the versatility criteria defined on the site).
Level 3
- May be required to partially replace a higher qualification job.
