Job Summary

Unilever is seeking a Treasury Lead for the Andean region. This role involves coordinating the correct execution of the company's treasury processes, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations and internal group policies. The position supports cash flow management, foreign exchange risk hedging, implementation of financial strategies that contribute to business sustainability and profitability, and compliance with corporate, exchange, and tax requirements. The objective is to ensure efficient management of liquidity and financial resources, optimizing costs and supporting the business strategy, while promoting a culture of compliance, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.

Must Have

  • Integral treasury management for Andean countries: liquidity planning, cash pooling, balance control, and financial resource optimization.
  • Cash flow projections: consolidation of real and projected inflows and outflows, variance analysis, and reporting to management.
  • Strategic relationship with banks and counterparties: negotiation of conditions, administration of credit lines, investments, and insurance.
  • Financial risk management: monitoring of foreign exchange and interest rate exposure, implementation of hedging strategies (FX, commodities).
  • Supervision of local and cross-border payments: compliance with internal, regulatory, exchange, and SOX policies.
  • Team leadership: development and coaching of treasury analysts in Colombia, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Digitalization and automation: implementation of tools (SAP, PowerQuery, PowerBI) to optimize processes and controls.
  • Participation in regional projects: Treasury HUB, operational efficiency, and digital transformation.
  • Compliance with regulations: ensuring correct application of global and local policies, internal and external audits.
  • Professional background in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Administration or related careers.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the Treasury area.
  • Knowledge and training in exchange regulations, financial information, cash flow, banking regulations of Colombia and Ecuador.
  • Experience leading teams and managing operations in multiple countries.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • Knowledge of accounting systems (SAP), Office 365, PowerBI.

Coordinate the correct execution of the company's treasury processes, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations, as well as the group's internal policies. This position provides support to manage the company's cash flow, manage foreign exchange risk hedges, implement financial strategies that contribute to the sustainability and profitability of the business, request internal and/or external financing, comply with the requirements of corporate, exchange, and tax entities.

The role aims to guarantee the efficient management of the company's liquidity and financial resources, ensuring fund availability, cost optimization, and regulatory compliance to support the business strategy, promoting a culture of compliance, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration with other business areas.

WHAT WILL BE YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES?

  • Integral treasury management for the Andean countries: liquidity planning, cash pooling, balance control, and optimization of financial resources, i.e., maximizing the return on available cash and reducing financing costs.
  • Cash flow projections: consolidation of real and projected inflows and outflows, variance analysis, and reporting to management.
  • Strategic relationship with banks and counterparties: negotiation of conditions, administration of credit lines, investments, and insurance.
  • Financial risk management: monitoring of foreign exchange and interest rate exposure, implementation of hedging strategies (FX, commodities).
  • Supervision of local and cross-border payments: compliance with internal, regulatory, exchange, and SOX policies.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

Professional training in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Administration or related careers, with solid knowledge and experience in treasury, exchange regulations of Colombia and Ecuador, relationship with national and international banking entities, advanced English proficiency, compliance with SOX controls, adaptability to change, and teamwork.

Experiences & Qualifications

  • Professional in Finance or similar with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the Treasury area - Exclusive
  • Experience in Treasury in multinational companies preferably, not exclusive.
  • Knowledge and training bases in exchange regulations, financial information, cash flow, exchange regulations, banking regulations of Colombia and Ecuador.
  • Experience leading teams and managing operations in multiple countries.
  • Advanced English, knowledge of accounting systems (SAP), Office 365, PowerBI, among others.
