Job Summary
The Workplace Service Administrator ensures the smooth operation and support of the collaboration and workplace infrastructure. This role involves further developing existing solutions, including UCC and collaboration tools, real-time visual collaboration, and video conferencing technology, as well as Android mobile devices. Responsibilities also include planning and implementing innovative solutions based on business requirements and corporate guidelines, performing release and patch management, and actively participating in Workplace projects.
Must Have
- Ensure smooth operation and support of collaboration and workplace infrastructure
- Further develop deployed solutions, including UCC and collaboration tools (Jabber, MS Teams, TIXEO), Realtime Visual Collaboration (iObeya), video conferencing technology, and Android mobile devices
- Independently plan and introduce innovative solutions based on business requirements, new introductions, and corporate guidelines
- Perform release and patch management for the supported services
- Actively participate in the planning and implementation of Workplace projects
- Successfully completed studies in computer science or comparable qualification/professional experience
- Profound knowledge in operating Windows-based workplace infrastructures
- Good product knowledge in Voice/UCC solutions (e.g., Microsoft Teams, video conferencing, Cisco Jabber)
- Practical experience in managing services, projects, and hardware rollouts
- Experience with agile working methods and ITSM processes (SCRUM, DevOps, ITIL)
- Very good German and good English language skills, both written and spoken
Good to Have
- Certificates or proofs are desirable
- Additional knowledge in Microsoft 365, Cloud Services, Enterprise Networks, Windows Server, and Linux (Red Hat) is advantageous
