 Level Specific Accountabilities Product Ideation/Enhancement: <ul><li> Conducting customer visits to understand need based on new technologies, emerging trends, enhanced features, possible areas of product creations and conduct detailed analysis for finding possible ideas for new Products/enhancements </li><li> Converting ideas to possible features or functionality of the product and sharing detailed possible description of the product with NPD </li><li> Ensures Benchmarking with latest technologies, New Processes and New Specification needed by the product and takes action to bridge the gap </li><li> Responsible for monitoring milestones planned in the product development cycle by coordinating with responsible departments like design, NPD and keeping track on time and costs, organizing for alpha / beta testing </li><li> Accountable for Product launch and communication </li><li> Generating leads and supporting territory in charges to close enquiries </li></ul>
Product Strategy <ul><li> Responsible for defining TTM strategies, identifying Market positioning, product positioning, defining value selling features, price positioning </li><li> Mapping competition strategy analysis to understand our product positioning and come up with proactive strategy to counter the same. Also, identifies unexplored Markets </li><li> Understanding the gap for feasibility with respect to formulation </li><li> Formulates sales and marketing strategies including branding, trade shows, reference building, and overall creating conditions for sale </li></ul>
Business Expansion &amp; Customer Management <ul><li> Ensuring that the product is well received by the market and performs optimally under the user conditions </li><li> To keep track of all complaints in coordination with Sales and Marketing for the product and ensure good reference of the product in the market place till creation of defined first reference </li><li> Ensuring standardization of the product by passing on the first set of comments for pilot batch and share the same with Design/NPD </li><li> Ensuring that the sales force is adequately trained on Product knowledge to handle enquiries and value sell on USP’s of the Product. </li><li> Coordinate with Marketing and support with technical inputs while preparing New Product Promotion material </li><li> Ensure proper Pharma related documentation and certification as per regulatory guidelines </li></ul>
Scope Of Decision Making <ul><li> Works under direction from the level above on the market trends as per emerging technologies, Customer requirements </li><li> Takes decisions on idea generation and suggestion to NPD and creation of TTM strategy post approval and development of the product </li></ul>
Key Competencies Technical / Functional: <ul><li> Product Knowledge on technical aspects related to features, technology and usage </li><li> Knowledge of analytics tools for conducting market research </li><li> Exposure to competitive benchmarking practices and skills </li><li> Commercial &amp; Planning skills </li><li> Technically competent and proficient at understanding machines </li><li> Strong Business Acumen </li><li> Excellent written &amp; verbal communication skills </li><li> Knowledge with regards to running entire product campaign covering launch, communication, documentation and Technical handover to sales </li></ul>
