 We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Engineering team at Astreya. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices, with a focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Infrastructure as Code.Key Responsibilities <ul><li>Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on GCP using best practices and industry standards</li><li>Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code for efficient and scalable deployments</li><li>Collaborate with development teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and improve software delivery processes</li><li>Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure high availability and performance of systems</li><li>Optimize cloud resource utilization and costs while maintaining system reliability and performance</li><li>Participate in on-call rotations and provide support for production issues</li><li>Mentor junior team members and contribute to the overall growth of the DevOps best practices</li></ul>
Requirements <ul><li>5-6 years of experience in DevOps or related field</li><li>Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and best practices</li><li>Proficiency in writing and managing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Google Cloud Deployment Manager &amp; Ansible</li><li>Solid understanding of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)</li><li>Experience with CI/CD tools and methodologies</li><li>Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash)</li><li>Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)</li><li>Excellent problem-solving and communication skills</li><li>Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment</li></ul>
Preferred Qualifications <ul><li>GCP certifications (e.g., Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer)</li><li>Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) for multi-cloud environments</li><li>Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements</li><li>Familiarity with Agile methodologies</li></ul>
