Architect MES Foundation

This role focuses on architecting and delivering high-quality Digital Factory Foundations solutions for BSH factories worldwide. You will be responsible for defining solution architectures, working with cutting-edge technologies, collaborating with development teams, and ensuring the security and reliability of the MES Platform. Key areas include defining architectures using Docker, Kubernetes, Couchbase, Kafka, SAP, HANA, and Amazon Cloud, leading development teams with technical guidance, and working on platform security and testing. You will be part of an agile team and will collaborate with other teams on solutions for the global Industry 4.0 program.

 Responsibilities:Functional: Architect for Shop floor Development / Software Development Lifecycle <ul><li>Define solution architectures with a high degree of complexity in BSH “Digital Factory” landscape with various state of the art technologies from Docker, Kubernetes, Couchbase, Kafka, SAP, HANA, Amazon Cloud, Frontend tools</li><li>Define, design, and deliver landscape for high quality Digital Factory Foundations solutions for our BSH factories worldwide</li><li>Work together with other shape architects and the cluster architecture</li><li>Support development teams (e.g. Software development, Testing and DevOps) of stream MES Foundations with technical guidance and architecture concepts and direction</li><li>Working actively on the MES Platform security and testing topics to increase the security and reliability of our MES Platform</li><li>Work with and leverage cutting-edge technologies in a modern development environment, e.g. .NET Core, C#, Angular, CI/CD</li><li>Working in an agile teams and align with other teams on exciting solutions for the global Industry 4.0 program of BSH</li></ul>
 Skills: <ul><li>MES with .NET would be primary</li><li>Hands on DevOps experience (Git, Azure DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher)</li><li>Monitoring tools (Kibana, Grafana)</li><li>MES – technical and factory domain knowledge</li><li>.Net Overall experience</li><li>SQL server</li><li>MES skill set in .net background and awareness of SAP systems.</li><li>Software Development Lifecycle Management (SDLM) know how within the Microsoft stack</li></ul>
 Qualifications &amp; Experience: <ul><li>Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field(B.E or B.Tech)</li><li>8+ years of software engineering experience and working knowledge of .NET Core, C#, WebAPI and SPA frameworks such as Angular; Knowledge of SAP landscape is a plus</li><li>Advanced experience with .NET patterns and platform technologies, web technologies, RESTFUL services, CI/CD pipelines and modern system design</li><li>Experience with software security releated topics</li><li>Experience of holistic software platform testing</li><li>Working experience in solution architecture documentation and architecture templates (arc42)</li><li>Experience DevOps technologies (Azure DevOps OnPremise), CI/CD pipelines and LINUX based infrastructure.</li><li>Experience with deployment strategies using Docker for containerization.</li><li>Expertise in SQL (Microsoft SQL Server) and NoSQL (Couchbase) data platforms will be valuable.</li><li>Experience working in an Agile scrum team in a fast paced, collaborative environment and the ability to work on multiple projects concurrently</li><li>Fluent in English, plus strong verbal and written communication skills; German would be beneficial</li></ul>
