 Essential Responsibilities <ul><li>Conducting research to understand company objectives, target markets, and industry trends to develop innovative and trending product designs.</li><li>Conceptualizing and designing marketable, trend-right artwork for balloon images, gift and home décor products.</li><li>Making modifications to existing artwork as suggested through peer and management critique; creating mechanicals.</li><li>Potential for domestic and international travel. </li></ul>
Specific Skills <ul><li>Must be well-versed with working with a variety of mediums: gouache, watercolor, acrylic, digital, etc.; calligraphy and hand lettering ability.</li><li>Possess broad knowledge and understanding of graphic/fine art standards; ability to create innovative, forward-thinking designs to attract customers.</li><li>Highly developed skills in both Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator on a MAC platform; proficiency with digital design software.</li><li>Has a strong sense and understanding of color theory, design principles, and typography.</li><li>Can produce precise, accurate and vendor-ready art boards in a timely and efficient manner.</li><li>Ability to read, write, and speak clearly in English; proficient with desktop/laptop/tablet computers and MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook). </li></ul>
