 Responsibilities <ul><li>As a VFX Artist, you will be responsible for authoring and placing particle and atmospheric effects to efficiently achieve high quality game content that meets studio and fan expectations. </li></ul>
Job Responsibilities: Typical Day <ul><li>Identify efficient VFX authoring workflows, working with Engine and Tech Art teams to implement.</li><li>Author new particle effects using our proprietary system.</li><li>Author procedural content and texture maps to drive VFX systems like clouds and weather.</li><li>Use a node-based system to author materials to enhance particle visuals.</li><li>Use our car and environment authoring tools to place VFX systems into content packages.</li><li>Ensure that our VFX systems operate at or under our performance budget.</li><li>Collaborate with Art Directors to develop photorealistic visual style consistent with game visuals. </li></ul>
Qualifications: Hark Skills <ul><li>BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Graphic Arts, Art, or a related field.</li><li>Experience authoring VFX on one or more AAA titles.</li><li>Proven ability to take art direction and enhance visuals.</li><li>Strong knowledge of one or more major 3D content creation packages, Houdini preferred.</li><li>Experience with next-generation content creation techniques.</li><li>Experience crafting high-fidelity VFX with limited performance budget.</li><li>Excellent communication skills.</li><li>Work well under deadlines and multi-tasks. </li></ul>
