3D Character Artist

GameShastra Solutions Pvt. Ltd is seeking a skilled senior character artist to join an exciting project, focusing on creating immersive gameplay experiences. The role involves bringing creatures and characters to life by combining strong anatomy, design, and color theory with game development knowledge. The ideal candidate will have experience working with teams through the entire product life cycle, including prototyping, pre-production, and production. Responsibilities include customizing art packages, collaborating effectively in a team, maintaining good communication, working with minimal supervision, possessing excellent organizational skills, and creatively resolving technical challenges. Knowledge of console hardware architecture and game engines like Unity or Unreal is expected, along with the ability to anticipate artist needs for streamlined productivity. Understanding health and safety legislation is also required. People management skills to train and mentor others are a plus.

                        <li><i class="fa-solid fa-arrow-right text-base-color"></i> Potential to take leadership to realize our vision by creating character assets at the highest level of artistic quality.</li>
                        <li><i class="fa-solid fa-arrow-right text-base-color"></i> Explore visual ideas, prototype new techniques, and expand the envelope for artistic capability on the team.</li>
                        <li><i class="fa-solid fa-arrow-right text-base-color"></i> Collaborate with all members of a team to make sure artwork fits within technical, design, and production requirements.</li>

                        <li><i class="fa-solid fa-arrow-right text-base-color"></i> 5+ years professional experience as a senior character artist in game development or an equivalent discipline.</li>
                        <li><i class="fa-solid fa-arrow-right text-base-color"></i> Eye for balance the light &amp; shade, color, and attention of detail in creating texture maps and materials.</li>
                        <li><i class="fa-solid fa-arrow-right text-base-color"></i> Exceptional understanding of human, animal, and creature anatomy.</li>
