Gamezop seeks a QA Engineer with experience in writing and executing test cases to verify website functionality. You'll test applications in pre and post-release stages, document results, and collaborate with developers. Must-have skills include software testing theory, understanding of SDLC, frontend/backend testing, and test documentation.

As a QA Tester, your responsibilities and duties include testing applications in both the pre and post-release stages of the development lifecycle and documenting the results for review.

Role:

<ul>
<li>0 to 2 years of experience in software testing</li>
<li>Knowledge of software testing theory</li>
<li>Understanding of the software development life cycle</li>
<li>Understanding of frontend and backend testing approaches and the ability to apply them</li>
<li>Ability to write test documentation</li>
<li>Ability to analyse business and functional requirements</li>
<li>Fluency in Scrum and Agile methodologies</li>
</ul>

Responsibilities:

<ul>
<li>Ensure the functionality of applications according to requirement specifications</li>
<li>Identify, record, document, alert, and track defects for developers to fix</li>
<li>Perform thorough regression testing when defects are resolved</li>
<li>Update and maintain test cases</li>
<li>Actively participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and provide meaningful inputs</li>
<li>Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies</li>
</ul>

Will be a plus:

<ul>
<li>Experience with agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence</li>
<li>Strong understanding of functional, API, WEB (or mobile) application testing</li>
<li>Proven track record of successfully collaborating with cross-functional teams</li>
<li>Experience in troubleshooting and debugging production issues</li>
