Roles &amp; Responsibilities: <ul><li> Lead engineering activities working in a multidisciplinary environment that calls for a broad scope of technical proficiencies, covering Desktop Application and Backend Developments. </li><li> Responsible for the full lifecycle, from implementation to testing to user acceptance to release. </li><li> Develop product SDKs, demo applications, and supporting utilities for connected IOT devices. </li><li> Develop an application framework with complex dependencies. </li><li> Reviewing the code and identifying areas where the algorithms can be improved to reduce execution time or memory usage. </li><li> Experience in bundling all the necessary files, resources, and dependencies of the application into a single executable or installer file. </li><li> Write test-driven, maintainable code and follow industry standards and best practices. </li><li> Gather requirements and create technical specifications as needed. </li><li> Implement new features and maintain existing features of the production pipeline. </li><li> Work with architects, project managers and other engineers to ensure accurate timelines and deliverables. </li><li> Collaborate with fellow engineers to find elegant, long-term solutions as well as creative quick fixes to problems. </li><li> Document code and create high-level interaction diagrams. </li><li> Participate in on-call support rotation. </li><li> Handle tier-3 support issues. </li><li> Be comfortable working with source control branching strategies. </li><li> Working in a high-velocity, agile team. </li></ul>
 Technical Requirements (Skillsets): <ul><li> Proficient in relevant desktop programming languages. C# and .NET preferred. </li><li> Must have experience developing desktop applications interacting with hardware peripherals. </li><li> Expertise in developing resource-intensive applications with low-level system interactions. </li><li> Expertise in applied cryptography and key management is desired </li><li> Knowledge of communication interfaces over JTAG, SWD, UART, SPI, and I2C is desired. </li><li> Knowledge of RFID industry standards such as ISO7816, ISO14443, and ISO15693 is desired. </li><li> Exposure to IOT technologies, security, cryptography, and RFID is desired. </li><li> Experience with the backend services interaction via RestAPI / MQTT / webhooks is desired. </li><li> Demonstrate strong flexibility to adapt to new technologies and changing project requirements. </li><li> Possess a passion and curiosity for new technology and innovation. </li><li> Demonstrate the ability to reduce complex ideas and problems into clear concepts and solutions. </li></ul>
Experience and/or Education Qualification: <ul><li> An undergraduate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required, with a graduate degree preferred. </li><li> 8+ years of overall experience in the Application/Solution Development </li><li> Experience building desktop applications targeting hardware integration </li><li> Hands-on understanding of scalability, security, high availability, and operational requirements </li><li> Possess a passion for new technology and innovation. </li><li> Experience with the full product lifecycle </li><li> Experience with Atlassian suite: Jira, Confluence, etc. </li><li> Excellent verbal and written communication skills </li></ul>
