Your role in the Team <ul><li>Managing and Upgrading our Existing Hyperconverged, Cohesity, Storage Infrastructure. </li><li>Expert level knowledge in Cohesity Backup Domain. </li><li>Escalation Point in the response to priority incidents. Diagnosing and resolving complex issues. </li><li>Assisting in the operational maintenance and support of the Backup and Storage systems including Cohesity, Hyperconverged Infrastructure, Storage &amp; NAS. </li><li>Assist in implementing automation where possible. </li><li>Ensure team documentation are up to date and assist the teams in coaching or documenting where needed. </li><li>Ensuring redundancy and disaster recovery configurations are in place where applicable, coaching the team where needed. </li><li>Innovator approach to constantly checking newest competitive technologies in market. </li></ul>

What You Will Need For This Role <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent work experience. </li><li>15+ years of experience across Virtualization, Storage and Backup Infrastructure. </li><li>Expertise in at least one scripting language, Python preferred. </li><li>Expert in Hyperconverged systems, Nutanix and Cohesity preferred. </li><li>Experience in IAC tooling including Git, Terraform, Docker, and Vault. </li><li>In-depth understanding of security practices, system hardening, and encryption technologies. </li><li>Must understand a physical DC and how physical HW is racked / configured. Confident working with remote DC team. </li><li>Outstanding communication skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. </li><li>Strong, self-motivated, and proactive team player with ability to adjust to shifting priorities and time management skills. </li><li>Strong knowledge of network protocols and principles, including multicast, TCP/IP, iSCSI, DHCP, NTP, PTP and DNS. </li></ul>
You’ll really stand out with: <ul><li>Expert in designing infrastructure IAC pipelines, Gitlab preferred. </li><li>Certification or Training in Cohesity, Nutanix. </li><li>AWS Certification </li></ul>
