 Your Job The Koch Global Services (KGS) infrastructure organization is seeking an innovative, forward-thinking Data scientist to research and develop cutting edge AI Solutions for Commercial analytics program of Guardian industries. Guardian Industries, a global leader in the manufacture of float, coated, and fabricated glass products, as well as high-performance coatings on plastics for the automotive and building products industries. In this role, Data scientist will utilize Their expertise in Salesforce Analytics and other commercial analytics to drive data-informed decisions and strategies. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) <ul><li>Creating advanced analytics (AI/ML) solutions in the commercial (sales/marketing/customer insights) domains.</li><li>Develop and deploy analytical models into the existing software (salesforce®, Infor, etc) or create custom AI solutions leveraging AWS services such as Sagemaker and or Azure ML.</li><li>Work on all the aspects of analytical projects cycle from start to finish – problem definition, model building, conveying actionable insights and deployment for application in real world scenario.</li><li>Enthusiastically collaborate with cross border teams i.e. Data science leaders and engineering teams to develop and deploy AI/ML solutions </li><li>Communication is the Key, together with critical thinking, the data scientist delivers impactful, accurate and actionable insights.</li><li>While working in an agile environment, integrate into the business strategy and quickly reach to the changing needs of the business and team dynamics. </li></ul>
What You Will Need to Bring with You: (experience &amp; education required) <ul><li>Bachelor's/master’s degree or higher in computer science, engineering, statistics, or equivalent discipline </li><li>3-5 years of experience working in commercial analytics which includes but not limited to Sales, marketing, pricing, customer behaviour, etc</li><li>Proficiency in Python, R, SQL and data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, tableau) and framework for web applications such as Shiny and Streamlit </li><li>Strong background in statistical analysis, predictive modelling, and A/B testing.</li><li>Ability to communicate precisely, written &amp; verbal to convey technical information to non-technical audiences.</li><li>Proven collaboration and influencing skills with peers and customers to gain alignment on business objectives </li></ul>
What Will Put You Ahead <ul><li>Previous experience in commercial analytics (Salesforce Einstein, etc)</li><li>AWS/Microsoft (Azure) certifications relevant to a data scientist</li><li>Familiarity with building Genai derived solutions using LLM</li><li>Experience working on multiple initiatives across various business domain</li><li>Should be willing to work close to US hours</li><li>Position is based out of Koch Bangalore office and expected to work from office. </li></ul>
