User Experience Designer

This is a UX Designer role at Leap Metrics, a healthcare analytics company. You'll be designing user interfaces and experiences for their software platform, Sevida.  The ideal candidate has experience with Figma or Sketch, user journeys, and analytics tools like Pendo.

 What You Will Do: <ul><li>Assistance with stories being refined and worked on in the short term:</li><li>Building mockups for stories in the upcoming sprint</li><li>Being available to answer questions for the developers while they are working on stories</li><li>Provide UI/UX feedback during the sprint demo</li><li>Research for big upcoming initiatives. </li><li>For example, if we knew that we wanted to start building "module x" in Q3 then today we would have them:</li><li>Build customer focus groups to discuss their needs, present prototypes,</li><li>Research competitors and present how others have done it, highlighting areas where we could be a market differentiator</li><li>Work with architects to make sure the proposed designs make sense from an implementation perspective. Sometimes a small tweak in the UX can save a lot of time coding.</li><li>Review analytics from tools like Pendo and suggest changes to address problem areas. </li></ul>
 Requirements: <ul><li>Proficient in tools such as Figma or Sketch for mockups and prototyping</li><li>Experience building, documenting, and working with user journeys, personas, and usability testing</li><li>Experience with analytics tools such as Pendo, Google Analytics, or Hotjar</li><li>Ability to communicate complex technical ideas clearly and concisely with various stakeholders</li><li>Experience designing web applications with Material Design</li><li>Ability to work independently and in a team environment</li></ul>
