Full-stack Developer

As a Full-stack Developer for Leetify's League of Legends team, you will be crucial in building a product that delivers value to the LoL community. You will collaborate with a PM, designer, and developers, shaping the product's future. Responsibilities include developing parts of the LoL app based on the roadmap, engaging with the Discord community, monitoring product metrics, collaborating with the CS dev team, and contributing ideas based on your experience as a League player. The role involves taking ownership, listening to user feedback, and ensuring the app runs smoothly alongside the existing CS product.

In this role, you will join the existing LoL team, and you will be vital in shaping the future of Leetify as a company. The team you will be joining is made up of a PM, a designer and two developers and we expect it to grow over time as more users use the product. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with this exceptional team to continue building our LoL product from the ground up. You will also keep in touch with the community through our Discord, making sure that the features you build deliver value and users’ needs are listened to.<h2>Summary of responsibilities</h2><ul> <li>Take ownership and fully develop parts of the LoL Leetify app based on the roadmap managed by the LoL Product Manager</li> <li>Listen to feedback and engage with our active Discord community and other LoL communities</li> <li>Keep an eye on product metrics, to make sure you're making the right product choices and discuss this with the rest of the LoL team</li> <li>Collaborate with the CS dev team to make sure the LoL app runs smoothly in parallel to the CS one</li> <li>Contribute ideas on how to make our product awesome, based on your experience as a League player</li> </ul> <h2>About you</h2>You are based in a timezone between GMT-7 and GMT+2.You are a talented and experienced full stack Javascript developer (preferably experienced in other languages too) and with a passion for gaming, particularly League of Legends – If you have Riot API experience, even better. You play and have played a large amount of LoL and have a deep understanding of champions, epics, gameplay mechanics, the LoL universe and community. You are interested in what users have to say and know that a product is built by understanding users’ problems. You are interested in communicating with users on Discord if they come across anything not working in your or any of your colleagues’ code.You are a motivated person that is passionate about coding and building things, and you have been doing it for some time now. You probably have tried to build a product before, or have been building things here and there as side projects. You take pride in your work and producing things that deliver value to users. You know that 80% of the value is delivered with 20% of the effort, and you are okay with delivering that.You have excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively articulate your thought process and any issues in the code. You are able to work independently while collaborating with other developers and team members, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. You are enthusiastic to contribute to the team efforts. Some of the things you build will not see the light of day or will not be carried on if users are not interested in them, but that’s fine with you and you move on to the next feature to build and test.
