This role involves testing and upgrading European vehicle machine software, troubleshooting software and hardware issues for an infotainment system.  The system, supplied by a Tier 1 company to an OEM, includes navigation, media playback, vehicle controls, HUD, driver display, and a 360° camera parking assist.  Testing is primarily manual, using vehicles or a HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) test bench.  Responsibilities include formulating test plans, writing test cases, analyzing test results, and tracking defects.  The system uses Android and QNX operating systems.  Tools used include DSA, ADB, and CANoe.

Drivers Display ( Cluster Instrument)<br>6. 360* camera parking assist.<br>Etc. are some of the functions provided by this system.<br>The ivi system is based on Android and QNX system.<br>Mainly manual testing is done either in a vehicle or HIL (Test bench)<br>Tools needed:<br>DSA (Diagnostics tool from Volvo)<br>ADB ( for android Platform)<br>canoe ( for LIN and Flexray communication between different ECUs)
