Our range covers from storytelling to design, from modeling to texturing, from camera layout to animation and lighting, and from effects to color grading. Right now, M2 Animation is looking for a Project Manager to contribute on a CG TV Series for a top client. Our teams produce a variety of series-format animation: Tween, 2D, preschool etc.
This position is for a candidate who already lives in Thailand.
Job Description Overview:
- Communicates with Producer to manage and align expectations including crew tasks, quality, and crew output.
- Daily reviews of production status in all departments to ensure deadlines are being met.
- Tracks quota and output from one department to the next.
- Prepares and distributes production departmental reports.
- Forecast delays and shortfalls early and bring solutions forward in a collaborative environment.
- Collaborates with the Client to understand their expectations and help them fill in the gap where they lack experience and knowledge of the process.
- Keeps the crew productive, motivated, and proud of their work, while maintaining the budget and schedule.
- Understands and maintains the flexibility that budgets and schedules can have during the creative process, keeping quality as the top priority.
- Comprehends everything about the project you are managing including creative and production parameters.
- Ensures notes taken by coordinators during Director/Client approval reviews including design, asset, animation, LRC are clear and concise.
- Work with Producer, CG Supervisor, & Director to build and track a detailed production schedule that is accurate, detailed and meticulously planned.
- Ensure all departments understand the schedule and parameters, and set regular meetings ensure departments are following it.
- Ensure everyone is following the approved “System” of workflow and procedures.
- Set expectations that Producers, Directors, other Coordinators, Supervisors and Artists follow “the agreed processes”.
- Represent, enforce, and implement instructions from upper management.
- Report project status to Producer and/or Supervising Producer.
- Oversees production materials to ensure they are tracked and recorded.
- Check all work that you deliver, to make sure it is clear, clean and correct.
- Treat all members of the crew with equal respect and deliver instructions in a polite and professional manner.
