Sales Development Representative

Medsender is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their team and contribute to AI-driven healthcare communication solutions. The role involves developing scalable solutions for MAIRA, an AI Medical Assistant designed to automate healthcare workflows and improve patient outcomes. The engineer will be expected to be a generalist, tackling new challenges and creating innovative solutions. The company has already saved healthcare professionals over 2 million hours. The ideal candidate will have strong programming fundamentals and a passion for healthcare technology.

In the past year alone, we've been able to save healthcare professionals over 2 million hours with Medsender.<h2>Position Overview:</h2>We are seeking a talented, self-driven, software engineer to join our engineering team and help bring AI to healthcare communication. Just like the rest of our engineering team, you're expected to be a generalist. We're constantly picking up new challenges and need to find creative, scalable solutions. You'll help make MAIRA handle any patient related call, regardless of customer workflows. We don’t expect you to have a background in everything we use, but we do expect strong programming fundamentals.<h3>Qualifications:</h3><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li> 5+ years of experience as a software engineer, ideally in API development.</li><li>Have exceptional coding skills, ideally in Python, and experience with service-oriented architectures.</li><li>Experience integrating AI models and a strong interest in AI and machine learning.</li><li>Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex problems and solutions.</li><li>You have a strong sense of ownership need minimal direction to accomplish your goals</li><li>A passion for healthcare technology and a commitment to improving patient care.</li></ul><h3>Bonus Qualifications:</h3><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li>Start-up experience, especially scaling a product/team in the growth phase.</li><li>Have developed or contributed to a Voice AI.</li><li>Comfortable learning and moving between several different types of programming languages (we use Python, JavaScript, Ruby, and Go)</li></ul><h3>What We Offer:</h3><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li>Competitive salary and equity package (early exercise, extended exercise).</li><li>Great health benefits!
