Senior QA Lead needed for a new gaming studio in Stockholm, Sweden. Must have experience in gaming QA, leading QA teams, and strong understanding of the game development lifecycle. Experience with testing tools and methodologies is crucial.

If you’re passionate about gaming, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and want to play a key role in ensuring our debut title is flawless, we’d love to hear from you.<br><br>As our Senior QA Lead, you’ll be responsible for overseeing all quality assurance efforts, ensuring our game meets the highest standards in performance, reliability, and player experience—specifically on PC. We’re looking for someone who is self-sufficient, experienced, and driven, ready to take ownership of the QA process and help us deliver a polished, unforgettable gaming experience.</p><h3><strong>What you’ll be doing</strong></h3><p><strong>Strategy and Execution:</strong></p><ul>
<li>Define and implement QA strategies that align with development and production processes.</li>
<li>Collaborate closely with cross-functional feature teams including development, production, and product management to ensure quality is maintained throughout the game development lifecycle.</li>
<li>Identify and resolve quality issues and bottlenecks throughout all stages of game development, from concept to post-launch</li>

<li>Manage external QA resources as needed, ensuring their integration into the development pipeline</li>

<li>Conduct performance, compatibility, and scalability testing across multiple hardware configurations and environments.</li>

<h3><strong>What We'd Like to See</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>A passion for gaming (bonus points for FPS)</li>
<li>Experience in Quality Assurance within the gaming industry</li>
<li>Strong understanding of the entire game development process, from launch to post-launch support</li>
<li>Hands on experience using QA tools, especially evaluating and implementing new tools into existing processes</li>
<li>Comfortable leading and working alongside outsourced QA</li>
<li>Expertise in both manual and automated testing methods, with a focus on functional, performance, and regression testing</li>
<li>Deep understanding of console and PC hardware, and network-related issues in multiplayer environments</li>
<li>Proficient in version control systems and continuous integration pipelines</li>
<li>Excellent communication and collaboration skills</li>
