 Overview The iOS Swift Developer at our product company in Bangalore will play a crucial role in creating and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for our customers. This role is important for ensuring that our iOS applications are robust, user-friendly, and provide an exceptional user experience. Key Responsibilities <ul><li>Design and build advanced applications for the iOS platform using Swift and Objective-C</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features</li><li>Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability</li><li>Work on bug fixing and improving application performance</li><li>Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency</li><li>Optimize mobile applications for performance and responsiveness</li><li>Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code</li><li>Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications</li><li>Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs</li><li>Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization</li><li>Stay up to date on new technologies and best practices in mobile app development</li><li>Participate in code reviews and contribute to team learning and improvements</li><li>Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues in a timely manner</li><li>Create and maintain technical documentation</li><li>Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to understand requirements and provide technical guidance </li></ul>
Required Qualifications <ul><li>Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field</li><li>Proven experience as an iOS developer with a strong portfolio of applications developed</li><li>Proficient in Swift and Objective-C, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems and popular third-party libraries</li><li>Strong understanding of the full mobile development life cycle</li><li>Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, etc.</li><li>Experience with web services integration (RESTful, JSON, etc.)</li><li>Knowledge of UI/UX standards and best practices</li><li>Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines</li><li>Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git</li><li>Experience with performance and memory tuning with tools</li><li>Familiarity with continuous integration</li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li><li>Good communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Passion for learning and adapting to new technologies</li><li>Solid understanding of the Agile development process </li></ul>
