Job Summary We are in search of a dedicated and experienced AV Project Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the execution of audiovisual projects, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining high-quality standards. Responsibilities Project Planning: <ul><li> Collaborate with clients, sales teams, and design engineers to understand project requirements.</li><li> Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining timelines, milestones, and resource requirements. </li></ul>
Installation Oversight <ul><li> Supervise and coordinate the installation of AV systems, ensuring adherence to design specifications.</li><li> Conduct on-site visits to monitor progress and address any technical challenges. </li></ul>
Team Collaboration <ul><li> Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design engineers, technicians, and subcontractors.</li><li> Provide technical guidance and support to team members throughout the project lifecycle. </li></ul>
Quality Assurance <ul><li> Implement quality control measures to ensure AV systems meet industry standards and client expectations.</li><li> Conduct system testing and troubleshooting to resolve any issues. </li></ul>
Client Communication <ul><li> Maintain regular communication with clients, updating them on project progress and addressing inquiries.</li><li> Provide training to clients on the operation and maintenance of AV systems. </li></ul>
Budget And Resource Management <ul><li> Monitor project budgets and expenditures to ensure cost-effectiveness.</li><li> Manage resources efficiently to meet project deadlines. </li></ul>
Requirements <ul><li> Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Audiovisual Technology, or a related field. </li><li> Proven experience as an AV Project Engineer or similar role. </li><li> Strong knowledge of audiovisual technologies, system integration, and troubleshooting. </li><li> Proficient in project management tools and methodologies. </li><li> Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. </li></ul>
Preferred Skills <ul><li> Industry certifications such as CTS (InfoComm Certified Technology Specialist) are a plus. </li><li> Familiarity with control systems (Crestron , AMX) and video conferencing solutions. </li><li> Experience with AV system programming. </li></ul>
