You’ll collaborate with your colleagues and drive innovation to deliver exceptional gaming experiences, always with the player experience in mind.</p><p class="my-4 text-gray-700 leading-relaxed">Whatever you do during the day, player experience should be top of mind, making sure that we spend time doing the things that matter.</p><h2 class="text-2xl md:text-3xl font-bold mt-10 mb-4 border-b pb-2 text-gray-800">Is this you?</h2><p class="my-4 text-gray-700 leading-relaxed">You are an experienced game developer who has ideally worked with live services. You’re familiar with Unity and C#, but might have worked with other engines as well.</p><p class="my-4 text-gray-700 leading-relaxed">You enjoy diving into complex systems and writing clean, maintainable, and scalable code, and you have solid knowledge of common 3D engines and their underlying architecture.</p><p class="my-4 text-gray-700 leading-relaxed">You speak English at a professional level and are a good communicator.</p><h2 class="text-2xl md:text-3xl font-bold mt-10 mb-4 border-b pb-2 text-gray-800">Where you’ll work</h2><p class="my-4 text-gray-700 leading-relaxed">Our Berlin studio is in Mitte, with a hybrid working model. We work from the office Tuesdays and Fridays, to allow for closer collaboration and socializing, other days it's up to everyone where they feel most comfortable to work. This role requires strong organisational skills, a detail oriented approach, and proficiency with accounting software, with an emphasis on experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365. As a Sydney based role, it involves frequent interactions and close collaboration with the finance team and cross functional stakeholders to ensure smooth financial operations.</p><h3 class="text-xl md:text-2xl font-bold mt-8 mb-3 text-gray-800">About the role:</h3><ul class="list-disc list-inside my-5 pl-5 space-y-2 text-gray-700"><li class="leading-relaxed">Manage Accounts Payable for the main company and multiple production entities, including processing multi currency transactions accurately and efficiently, while maintaining close communication with the finance team based in Sydney.</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Perform invoice scanning and processing using Axtension or equivalent document management systems, maintaining timely and effective processes.</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Process travel and expense reimbursements in compliance with company policies, liaising directly with employees and management as needed.</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Perform high-volume data entry tasks, while keeping the team informed of any discrepancies or issues.</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Upload and submit bank files for review and approval by senior finance staff, maintaining open communication channels for queries and approvals.</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Process software prepayments and manage relevant accounting entries with adherence to company procedures.</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Raise and match Purchase Orders (POs), ensuring proper approval workflows and accurate General Ledger (GL) coding, coordinating regularly with other team members.</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Conduct bank reconciliations for all local accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely completion through regular updates and communication with senior finance personnel.</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Receipt Accounts Receivable (AR) payments and monitor aged debtor reports to support cash flow management, collaborating closely with the finance and production teams.</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Prepare daily cash reporting and forecasting to aid financial planning, sharing insights and forecasts during team meetings.</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Undertake ad-hoc duties and projects as required to support the finance team, contributing actively to team discussions and initiatives.</li></ul><h3 class="text-xl md:text-2xl font-bold mt-8 mb-3 text-gray-800">About you:</h3><ul class="list-disc list-inside my-5 pl-5 space-y-2 text-gray-700"><li class="leading-relaxed">Minimum 2 years of accounting experience, preferably within a corporate or production finance environment.</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations is highly preferred; strong knowledge of system functionalities related to Accounts Payable and financial reporting is a key advantage.</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, including the ability to work with formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools.</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Proven ability to handle high-volume data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively across multiple departments and stakeholders in a Sydney office environment.</li><li class="leading-relaxed">Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to maintaining data integrity.</li></ul><h3 class="text-xl md:text-2xl font-bold mt-8 mb-3 text-gray-800">What do we do?</h3><p class="my-4 text-gray-700 leading-relaxed">Flying Bark Productions is a renowned independent producer of family-focused animation entertainment.
