The VP Sales will spearhead ad sales and sponsorship revenue growth for Sphere Entertainment Co., focusing on media & entertainment, gaming, and tech categories.  Responsibilities include maximizing revenue through strategic marketing solutions and innovative sales concepts, particularly for the Exosphere (largest outdoor LED canvas).  This role demands building and maintaining C-suite relationships, developing global partnerships, collaborating with internal teams on data-driven sales strategies, and working with creative agencies and experiential brands.  The VP will also contribute to cross-collaboration with the MSG Family of Companies.

<p>The Vice President Sales will be an experienced sales professional to grow ad sales and sponsorship revenue and drive commercial opportunities for Sphere Co.&nbsp; The VP Sales will own the category of media &amp; entertainment, gaming and tech. The VP will cultivate client relationships with C-suite stakeholders, key decision makers, and their respective agencies.</p>
<p><strong>What will you do? </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Maximize revenue through strategic marketing solutions and innovative sales and marketing concepts focused on international partnerships opportunities.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Responsibilities include but are not limited to selling the Exosphere largest outdoor LED canvas in the world, Sponsorship, Official Sponsor naming rights and custom integrations.</li>
<li>Focus on building media and sponsorship partnerships with the largest media and entertainment companies in the world as well as consumer tech platforms.</li>
<li>Develop in conjunction with Strategy team, a plan to address joint partnerships across the MSG Family of Companies including Madison Square Garden, Radio City Music Hall, The Beacon Theater and The Chicago Theatre.</li>
<li>Collaborate with various internal teams to implement and develop data-driven sales approach and maximize efficiency in the sales process.</li>
<li>Strategically utilize outward facing activities and time with prospects.</li>
<li>Build and cultivate external networks and relationships.</li>
<li>Optimize corporate revenue by surfacing the largest opportunities with Partnership as the hub.</li>
<li>Deliver collaborative efforts involving external creative agencies, technical driven creative and experiential brands.</li>
<li>Focus efforts on inventory and strategies designed to maximize revenue streams for Sphere Co and cross collaboration with the MSG Family of Companies.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>What do you need to succeed? </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>10+ years direct sales experience and at least 5+ years working in an entrepreneurial environment.</li>
<li>Seasoned negotiator and relationship builder with a proven record of negotiating complex, multi—product, multi-year deals that exceed aggressive revenue targets.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Extensive knowledge of brand marketing and sponsorship sales, preferably having sold media, entertainment, gaming and tech.</li>
<li>Expertise working with creative agencies and experiential brands.</li>
<li>Strong cross-functional leader who can partner with internal and external clients.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Previous experience delivering global strategy and high-impact growth initiatives.</li>
<li>Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and open to learning new ways of working.</li>
<li>Ability to embrace change with a flexible mindset, even if the way forward isn’t clear.</li>
<li>Ability to be a reliable team member, capable of effective collaboration to achieve our shared goals across teams and departments.</li>
<li>Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.</li>
<li>Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.</li>
<li>Ability to support quality decision making by utilizing data and metrics.</li>
