This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in an Advertising agency, Social Agency, or Design house (with digital). You'll be creating contemporary digital layouts with strong typography and animation/motion cues, and collaborating with a copywriter on creative social media content. Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Aftereffects/Premier Pro is a must.

About This Opportunity :An Art Director on the social team should have a deep understanding of the social media space. They should beable to partner with a copywriter to conceptualize and execute creatives that are optimized for the social medium –Instagram, Pinterest, Tiktok &amp; Facebook primarily.Roles and Responsibilities : <ul><li>Possess an understanding of design for short format videos – layout, typography, colour and animation.</li><li>Create contemporary digital led layouts with strong typography and animation/motion cues.</li><li>Participate in brainstorm sessions and work with the team towards creative solutions</li><li>Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in the English language</li><li>Must be familiar with American culture and vernacular</li><li>Remain current with the latest style, graphic, industry and technology trends and apply this to projects</li><li>Look-up and research for a stronger understanding of different media.</li><li>Requirements :</li><li>Minimum 5 years at an Advertising agency, Social Agency or Design house (with digital)</li><li>Experience with working on Mac OSX / iOS / Apple operating system</li><li>Proficient at Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and other design tools. Experience with Aftereffects</li><li>and/or Premier Pro is a bonus.</li><li>Working knowledge of Microsoft Office</li></ul>
