The Gang Asia seeks a Game Programmer to contribute to the development and updates of existing Roblox games and new game creation.  This role involves working within small teams, providing creative freedom to define player experience, and handling all aspects of game development, from UI and gameplay logic to server code. Responsibilities include developing user-friendly Roblox games, collaborating on new features, ensuring alignment with business goals, improving development processes, and staying updated on Roblox development trends. The ideal candidate possesses experience with C-family languages (Unity/Unreal Engine) or Lua (Roblox Studio),  a strong understanding of game programming, and proven Roblox game development experience (publication on platforms like Play Store, App Store, Steam is a plus).

You will play a key role in developing new updates to our existing games as well as developing new games on the Roblox Platform. Working on the Roblox Platform and in a small team for each game will give you a lot of creative freedom, this means that you will be able to define the player experience a lot and also you will get to work on every part of the game, from UI-code and gameplay logic to server code. <li dir="ltr">Develop user-friendly and visually appealing Roblox Game using Roblox Studio</li>
<li dir="ltr">Collaborate with the game development team to build and implement new features, and optimize existing ones</li>
<li dir="ltr">Ensure the game application’s design and functionality align with our business goals and technical requirements</li>
<li dir="ltr">Continuously improve the game development process and share your knowledge with the rest of the team</li>
<li dir="ltr">Stay up-to-date with the latest roblox game development trends and technologies</li>
</ul> Who you are<ul>
<li dir="ltr">Experience with programming in the C-family (Unity Engine/Unreal Engine) and/or LUA (Roblox Studio)</li>
<li dir="ltr">Solid understanding on game programming and theory</li>
<li dir="ltr">Experience in Roblox game development, preferred</li>
<li dir="ltr">Proven game publication on platforms like Play Store, Appstore, Steam, or others, is a plus</li>
<li dir="ltr">Finished higher vocational education in professional game development and/or other bachelor degree or higher within software engineering</li>
<li dir="ltr">Must be proficient in English, both written and spoken. Malay or Mandarin are a plus, but not required as our working language is English</li>
