Executive Producer

As an Executive Producer in Paris, you will play a crucial role in securing new projects and ensuring their successful delivery. You will collaborate with various teams to drive new business, oversee project delivery, manage client relations, and provide line management to Producers. Responsibilities include project management, client communication, team collaboration, talent acquisition, financial oversight, and creative collaboration. The role requires strong communication, financial forecasting skills, and the ability to adapt to changes, ensuring projects are executed to the highest standards.

Executive Producer, Paris.Bringing a wealth of experience gained in the VFX Industry and understanding of VFX production, business development and client management you will play a vital role as part of a wider team in driving the overall success of securing new projects and effective show delivery. You will collaborate with the Global Head of Production, Chief Creative Officer, the Creative Directors and our New Business team to drive new business and help us to win exciting new projects seeing them through to delivery on time and within budget.Responsibilities<ul> <li>Project management- Oversee the project delivery of allocated shows from turnover to final delivery ensuring they run on time and to budget, acting as the escalation point between the show Supervisor and Producer to proactively resolve issues that might affect the successful delivery of the show. Reporting on show progress to the Global Head of Production. </li> </ul><ul> <li>Client relations- Responsible for clear client communication, nurturing relations and serving as the primary escalation for clients of allocated shows before and during the show, maintaining strong relationships and managing expectations.</li> </ul><ul> <li>Line management-Management of the Paris Producers regularly hosting strategic syncs, providing guidance, mentoring and career progression throughout the life cycle of a show. Managing the ongoing development and day to day employee admin tasks for Producers as line reports.</li> </ul><ul> <li>Team collaboration-Working closely with Producers and VFX Supervisors to ensure optimal performance and project execution. Acting as the internal escalation point for Global Head of Resourcing.</li> </ul><ul> <li>Talent- Work with the Global Head of Production to find and recruit local talent, proactively networking to feed our talent pool. </li> </ul><ul> <li>Financial oversight- Provide accurate forecasting and overview of the health of each project, flagging problems to the Global Head of Production and the finance team. Ensure shows are on track for hitting tax credit estimates and margins. Attending show profitability meetings alongside the show Producer.</li> </ul><ul> <li>Creative Collaboration-Work closely with Creative Directors and the client to ensure our work is executed at the highest standard and to the clients’ specifications.</li> </ul><ul> <li>Best practice- Ensure shows are following best practices as determined by the Global Head of Production and Production Operations Manager.</li> </ul><ul> <li>Ad-hoc- Responsible for casting Producers to Paris shows and acting as cover if a show Producer is absent.</li> </ul><h5>Skills and Attributes</h5><ul> <li>Clear and confident communicator with the ability to engage and motivate teams.</li> </ul><ul> <li>Confidence in client relationships and ability to negotiate and push back in the right manner.</li> </ul><ul> <li>Confidence to be self-sufficient, making sensible decisions to resolve and move forward any complicated situations.</li> </ul><ul> <li>Competent in accurate financial forecasting and analysing financial reports to be able to make data lead decisions. </li> </ul><ul> <li>Adaptable to change with the ability to stay focused and maintain a positive attitude. </li> </ul><ul> <li>Driven to make things better with flexibility to change course when needed. </li> </ul><ul> <li>Positive energy, focusing on results and having a positive impact on those around you.</li> </ul><ul> <li>Self-awareness and an ability to resolve and diffuse problems treating colleagues and clients with kindness and respect. </li> </ul><ul> <li>Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work well with others navigating different personalities to get the best outcome. </li> </ul>Experience needed<ul> <li>Extensive experience in VFX production with at least five years in a senior producer role. </li> </ul><ul> <li>International experience and mid-large vendor experience is essential. </li> </ul><ul> <li>Previous experience of producing a diverse range of projects across multiple sites.</li> </ul> What we offer<ul> <li>27 days&#39; holiday, plus bank holidays as included in IDCC 2717</li> </ul><ul> <li>2 paid volunteering days per calendar year</li> </ul><ul> <li>Hybrid working</li> </ul><ul> <li>Company pension via Audiens</li> </ul><ul> <li>Healthcare coverage via Swiss Life</li> </ul><ul> <li>A calendar full of wrap parties and other social events</li> </ul>Hours and locationOur core hours are 09:30am to 18:30pm, or 10:00am to 19:00 pm Monday to Friday. We have a great studio in the 20th arrondissement, where our artists are based. We operate a Hybrid working policy where artists are required to attend the studio 2 to three days a week depending on role. One of Us require candidates to reside in the UK or France, depending on the location of the role, or must be willing to relocate for the duration of the contract.
