About the job/role

Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, this role supports the Greater China team in managing social media channels, creates and schedules content, analyzes audience engagement, and propose new content ideas, and supporting and assisting with projects and events.

Responsibilities

  • Provide general support to Greater China Marketing teams for business-related programs.
  • Manages company social media channels, including Weibo, Wechat, Douyin, Red, and other relevant platforms jointly with 3rd party agencies.
  • Engages in social media presence creation on new and emerging social media platforms.
  • Creates dynamic written, graphic, and video content.
  • Creates content that promotes audience interaction, increases audience presence on company sites, and encourages audience participation.
  • Analyses and reports audience information and demographics, and success of existing social media projects.
  • Proposes new ideas and concepts for social media content and other marketing programs.
  • Writes and distributes e-newsletters to subscribers.
  • Uses timelines and scheduled content to create a consistent stream of new content for audience interaction while analysing, managing, and altering schedules where necessary to optimize visits. Assists management with large projects, events, and community management. - Works as part of a team to assist marketing campaigns.
  • Provide general support to Greater China Content distribution.
  • Support over content hub from internal and external studio.
  • Provide support over content censorship in terms of documentation and follow-up.
  • Assist managing the online content hub.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or above
  • 2+ years of brand marketing or trade marketing or PR experience with international consumer product brands
  • Track record of nationwide retailer/e-tailer campaign accomplishments with the sophisticated connection of the retailing partners esp. with Tmall, JD, Douyin, Little Red Book, top mall operators
  • Strong interpersonal communication and negotiation skills esp. with management-level personnel
  • Thrive in matrix environments and adept at influencing and coordinating with different stakeholders
  • Proficiency in English and Mandarin
