 YOOM is leading the next generation of performance capture with markerless capture technology. YOOM products are used in creating high fidelity animation for Games, Films and VFX. YOOM technology streamlines the performance capture process for generating animated avatars, by leveraging its proprietary Machine learning algorithms. YOOM is looking for a Motion Capture Production Specialist for its Hollywood studio. As a Motion Capture Production Specialist, you will continually keep the motion capture stage running at peak performance and will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations on the mocap stage. You will ensure the quality of recorded data and maintain that the data is properly collected and stored. You will collaborate with Producers, Animators, and Engineers to recommend guidance and solutions to best acquire data effectively. Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities: <ul><li>Assist the Technical Director with developing, maintaining, and advancing the motion capture pipeline. </li><li>Maintain the motion capture stage facilities in all aspects, from technological software and hardware to all necessary stage supplies. </li><li>Support partner studios using YOOM technology</li><li>Assist mocap team with cleaning, solving, retargeting, and editing data for delivery. </li><li>Stay up to date with the industry and technology trends. </li></ul>
Requirements: <ul><li>Familiar with video reference and audio feeds.</li><li>Physically capable and mentally creative to find solutions for set building and construction.</li><li>Preferred experience with Motion Analysis Optitrack or Vicon On-set production experience in motion capture or related entertainment industry; Film, TV, Video Games, VFX </li><li>Knowledgeable in debugging, bug testing, and problem solving.</li><li>Knowledge of 3D software packages is a big advantage.</li><li>Experience with optical motion capture technology is preferred. </li></ul>

The salary range for the YOOM Motion Capture Production Specialist is $60,000 - $70,000 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs
