Job Responsibilities:
- Conceptual Design: Develop and execute 3D designs for event spaces, stages, exhibition booths, and other event installations, based on client briefs and project objectives.
- Visualization: Create high-quality 3D visualizations and renders that accurately represent event concepts, from initial design to final production.
- Collaboration: Work closely with event producers, architects, and project managers to ensure design concepts are aligned with technical specifications, budget, and client vision.
- Space Planning: Design and visualize spatial layouts for events, considering attendee experience, flow, and technical feasibility.
- Material Specification: Recommend materials, textures, and finishes to ensure both aesthetic appeal and practical application.
- Feedback Integration: Refine and adjust designs based on feedback from internal teams and clients to meet expectations.
- Stay Current: Keep up with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to continually push the creative boundaries in event design.
- 3D Modeling: Produce detailed 3D models, CAD drawings, and technical documentation for production teams to bring designs to life.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: 5-8+ years of experience as a 3D designer, preferably in the event, exhibition, or live entertainment industry.
- Software Proficiency: Expert knowledge of design software such as 3ds Max, SketchUp, AutoCAD, Blender, Rhino, or other relevant 3D modeling and rendering tools.
- Creative Vision: Strong design portfolio showcasing creative concepts and execution in event or experiential design.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with event production processes, materials, and construction techniques.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to think creatively and solve design challenges within the constraints of budgets and technical limitations.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous eye for detail in design execution, from visualization to final production.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present and explain design concepts to clients and internal teams.
- Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders, including creative teams, clients, and production staff.
