CADD Technician

Purpose & Need

What You’ll Do

• Proficient in roadway construction plans production
• Capable of the development of pay item quantities and calculations
• Capable of developing a project cost estimate
• Knowledgeable of design standards, manuals, and criteria
• Requires no technical supervision of tasks by senior staff
• Serves in the lead technical capacity for project development
• Complete tasks and projects within expectations of Project Manager, Supervisor or Task Lead

What You’ll Need

• High School diploma or non-engineering degree 
• Vocational Training course completion or equivalent college level courses is preferred
• 0-5 years of related experience
• Other experience or training may be considered 

What You’ll Bring

• Knowledge about CADD Systems
• Good verbal and written communications skills
• Good attention to detail and organizational skills
• Must be able to effectively prioritize
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards in all work efforts
• Ability to perform multiple tasks in an organized manner
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team on deadline-driven activities
• Knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and other Office Products
