Job Description

Tesla is seeking a Field Service Technician specializing in Energy Storage products. The role involves on-site installation, commissioning, repair, and maintenance of energy storage systems across Belgium, with occasional international travel. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, acting as the primary contractor contact, analyzing recurring issues, and providing feedback to engineering teams. The ideal candidate possesses at least 3 years' experience in electrical engineering, ideally in a field-based role, with expertise in low- and medium-voltage systems. High-voltage experience is a plus. Excellent communication, independent work abilities, flexibility, and fluency in English are essential. A valid driver's license and EU work authorization are required.

Must have:

3+ years' experience in electrical engineering
Low/Medium Voltage systems experience
Troubleshooting & root cause analysis
Excellent communication skills
Independent work abilities
Valid driver's license & EU work authorization

Good to have:

High Voltage experience
Field-based role experience

What to Expect

As a Field Service Technician in our Energy Field Service team, you will play a vital role in making sure our Energy Storage products are operating at their best. Our Energy Storage products help solve the problem with the inconsistent supply of wind and solar power, accelerating the transition to a greener electricity network. In your day-to-day responsibilities, you will perform preventive maintenance, upgrades, troubleshooting and repairs along with commissioning activities across various locations within Belgium. What You’ll Do

Perform all on-site technical activities related to the installation, commissioning, repair, maintenance of our Energy storage products in Belgium and abroad when needed
Troubleshoot and perform root-cause analysis, both remotely and on-site
Act as the first point of contact to contractors
Analyze recurring issues and provide feedback to the engineering teams
Prepare, organize, and plan your own technical activities

What You’ll Bring

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a technician in the electrical engineering field, experience in a field-based role is a plus
Experience with Low- and Medium Voltage electrical systems, High Voltage is a plus
A passion for renewable energy
Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently, motivated and a proactive attitude
Flexible towards travelling
Fluency in English
Valid driver’s license
EU work authorization
