Scopely seeks a Senior AI Designer for static and video production in its Barcelona office (hybrid). Responsibilities include leading the creation of AI-generated art and video content, testing AI tools, setting workflows, collaborating with cross-functional teams, staying updated on AI advancements, experimenting with AI tools, optimizing content for performance, and working with the AI engineering team. The role requires creating compelling visuals, iterating on existing creatives, and participating in brainstorms. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in design, proficiency in AI/ML tools, 2D/3D software, and video editing software, excellent communication skills, and a strong portfolio.
Must have:
- 5+ years design experience (gaming preferred)
- Proficiency in AI/ML tools
- 2D/3D software (Photoshop, Figma, Blender, Maya)
- Video editing software (After Effects, Premiere Pro)

Scopely is looking for a highly motivated and talented Senior AI Designer for static and video production to join one of our teams in the Barcelona Office on a Hybrid basis!

What You’ll Do:
- As a Senior AI Designer with our team, you will have the chance to work on high-profile, industry-leading projects that will challenge and inspire you, while also providing the opportunity to grow and develop your skills in a supportive and collaborative environment.
- Lead the creation of AI-generated art and video content, focusing on testing AI tools, setting workflows, and producing stunning visual assets for all the games across Scopely's portfolio.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement AI-powered creative solutions for both static and video visual content.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in AI technology and incorporate them into artistic processes and workflows.
- Experiment with AI-driven tools to explore new possibilities and push the boundaries of artistic expression in both static and video formats.
- Optimize AI-generated content for performance and quality across different devices, platforms, and media types.
- Work closely with the AI engineering team to provide feedback and insights on the development of new AI tools and features for artistic applications.
- Participate in brainstorms, ideate, and sketch ideas before production.
- Execute static assets and video content with deep attention to detail.
- Create regular featuring assets, strong key arts, and compelling videos to represent our games in the most impactful way.
- Use insights and team benchmarks to iterate on existing creatives and continuously improve their quality.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the design industry, preferably in gaming or entertainment.
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Arts, or a related field.
- Proficiency in AI and machine learning tools, data visualization techniques, data processing, and model evaluation.
- Experience with 2D and 3D software such as Photoshop, Figma, Blender, or Maya.
- Experience with video editing tools and software such as After Effects, Premiere Pro, or similar.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify, troubleshoot, and derive solutions to difficulties arising in artistic processes.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- The ability to drive an idea from conception to completion.
