This is a full-time, in-office position in Vaughan, Canada, requiring 5+ years of experience in a similar role within the social casino/iGaming industry.

Position Overview:

The Data Analyst will work with large volumes of gaming data to manage and optimize the business economy. They will analyze user needs, build projections and simulations, and leverage machine learning techniques to drive effective decision-making. This role requires a strong ability to resolve complex issues and provide data-driven insights that enhance user experience and support strategic business objectives.

Main Responsibilities: 

  • Data Analysis - Analyze large datasets to understand gaming operations, player behaviour, and revenue streams and inform strategic and operational decisions.
  • Product Development Support - Provide recommendations based on the game data to enhance product features, economies, and future developments.
  • Monetization support - Work across teams to apply insights for improving game monetization and player engagement tactics.
  • Performance Monitoring - Design and create automated dashboards and reports for key business metrics and insights to assess the effectiveness of gaming products/features/events, marketing campaigns, and revenue-generating initiatives.
  • Financial Analysis - Evaluating financial performance, forecasting revenue projections, and identifying areas for cost optimization or revenue growth
  • Continuous Improvement - Staying updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in gaming analytics and business intelligence. Proactively identifying opportunities for process improvement and optimization within the analytics function.
  • Manage multiple analytics projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Provide technical and architectural guidelines for the optimal data structuring within the organization.


Requirements

  • 5+ years in similar analytical roles in the social casino/iGaming industry.
  • Proficient in SQL and experience with complex data queries.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex data into actionable insights.
  • Passion for the social gaming industry and an adaptable attitude.
  • Personal values - Proactiveness, assertiveness, goals and not tasks driven self -management
  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Math, Engineering, Economics, or another quantitative field.

Nice to haves:

  • Experience with PowerBI 
  • Familiarity with statistical tools and models (R, SAS) 
  • Previous supervisory/managerial experience
