About the job
Role:
Looking for aSenior research engineerto join ourlocalization and mappingteam
Must have:
Strong background in state-of-the-art SLAM algorithms, Visual Odometry, Localization or State Estimation/filtering techniques (Kalman Filter, Particle Filter etc.)
5+ years experience writing production quality code in C++ and deploying SLAM algorithms to real robots
Understanding of different sensor modalities (Cameras, LIDARs, RADARs, IMUs, GPS, ultrasonic sensors etc.)
Strong fundamentals in C++ and Python programming
Additional skills:
MS or PhD in Computer Vision, 3D Geometry, SLAM, Localization, Mapping or a relevant field
Background in Robotics
Experience with ROS and Linux
