Enterprise Account Executive

As an Enterprise Account Executive at Pachama, you will play a key role in helping Fortune 1000 companies invest in nature. Your responsibilities include building relationships with sustainability leaders, understanding their decision-making processes, and aligning Pachama's solutions with their carbon credit strategies. You will manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals, exceeding quarterly sales targets. You will also provide client feedback to internal teams and occasionally travel to meet clients and attend industry events. The ideal candidate will have experience in enterprise sales, a strong interest in climate tech, and experience in startup environments.

You will be focused on landing new clients by developing relationships with corporate sustainability leaders, mapping out their decision-making processes, and matching Pachama solutions to their carbon credit strategies. The company is backed by notable investors including Lowercarbon Capital, Breakthrough Energy Ventures, Future Positive, Amazon Climate Pledge Fund, and Y Combinator.</span></div><div class="section page-centered"><div><h3>What You Will Help Us With:</h3><ul class="posting-requirements plain-list"><ul><li>Gain command of the Pachama message, and become an expert on the company’s forest carbon projects and technology solutions</li><li>Manage the full-cycle sales process under an Account Based Management model from prospecting and lead generation to deal closing including doing deep discovery with prospects to uncover needs and pain points</li><li>Manage complex sales cycles and demonstrate the value of the Pachama’s product suite, including education on carbon markets and policy</li><li>Develop and nurture relationships with Fortune 1000 sustainability leaders and their ESG consultancy partners including finance and communications leaders</li><li>Manage stakeholder relationships by creating organization and decision-making maps along with mutual action plans to execute against</li><li>Exceed quarterly sales targets by closing new accounts</li><li>Aggregate and distill client feedback for cross-functional stakeholders in Product and Science</li><li>Travel occasionally to meet customers and prospects as well as to industry events</li></ul></ul></div></div><div class="section page-centered"><div><h3>Experience &amp; Skills We're Looking For:</h3><ul class="posting-requirements plain-list"><ul><li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience</li><li>Experience working in high-growth start up environments</li><li>Experience selling to VP and C-level executives</li><li>5+ years of quota-carrying enterprise sales experience and ability to demonstrate successful prospecting, identifying, and closing new business, managing a pipeline, and exceeding annual sales targets</li><li>Track record of success selling into Fortune 1000 companies</li><li>You have experience successfully bringing a new product or solution to market and the ability to give feedback internally</li><li>Exceptional verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Prior sustainability sales experience preferred</li></ul></ul></div></div><div class="section page-centered" data-qa="salary-range"></div><div class="section page-centered" data-qa="closing-description"></div>
